I've listed Christy as one of my all-time favourites on the Favourite Folksingers Thread so I hope this new album is better than his last two,Collection and Graffiti Tongue, I think they were called, I can't remember as I gave them both to a charity shop which raised eight quid from them. His Rose of Tralee was an embarrassing piece of drivel, he would have been better singing the old original.

Does anyone agree with me that Christy is one of the ALL-TIME great singers but a pretty average songwriter? Anyway I look forward to testing the new album and thanks for letting me know about it, out here in the Argyll sticks.
