Thanks people. Maybe we'll get there. I'm still puzzled by it not being in any of the lyric data banks. Maybe there is some kind of history of copyright problems. (Maybe the fact that it's credited variously to L Towers, M Morrow, D Pelosi and to Arthur Tracy has something to do with it?)

The friend who asked me to chase up the words has been looking in on the thread - she says "It's been fascinating watching the replies come in over the ether."

Apparently while the residents in the sheltered living set up agree in liking the song they can't agree on exactly how the words go. So if nothing turns up she thinks she'll search out the sheet music to make sure that peace and harmony prevails.
