I would suggest that you buy yourself a "Rand McNally Travel Atlas" It has a page to a state and includes Canada, It is easy to read and has a section where they give a time for a journey. If you ask anyone in the US how far it is to somewhere they always answer in hours and minutes anyway, never in miles as we do in the UK. You will find that a four hour journey in the UK will tire you more thay a 12 hour journey in the US. I notice you are staying in Boston on the first night which is good planning so you can start fresh next day or just drive up to Portsmouth NH on the Friday 7th and go to the session in the Press Room and meet a few other catters. We drove up to Maine after arriving from the UK and I was knackered after about 50 miles
