In appreciation for those that helped me with a recent word search, I give you what I know about this song (I hope it is the same one). apologies if I cant use the format properly:

I heard it sung by John Roberts and Tony Barrand at a sing-round at Folklore Village, about 15 years ago, when I was 8 ;) I cant explain the gender switch.

A farmer had a litter of pigs, *snort* igs, *whistle* igs, *sniff* idle-dee-digs,

Cho: Suzanne is a funny old man, *snort* an, *whistle* an, *sniff* idle-dee-dan, Suzanne is a funny old man,

Sing lassie sing ring sing lo, Suzanne is a funny old man, *snort* an, *whistle* an, *sniff* idle-dee-dan, Suzanne is a funny old man.

And this little pig would have made fine pork, *snort* ork, *whistle* ork, *sniff* idle-dee-dork,

Cho

and so on with verses of 'made fine bacon', 'ham', and if you are nimble with the tongue, 'chittlins', 'trottlins', and 'sausage', ending with a verse:

and that was the end of the litter of pigs, snort* igs, *whistle* igs, *sniff* idle-dee-digs, and chorus

I hope you have the tune. If you want a telephone review call Rick Nagler in Prairie Farm, WI (715) before noon 12/29
