Subject: RE: BS: How Many of Us Perform With Family?
Well, since it's been refreshed, I will brag a little. Since my last post on this thread, we've added a really good female vocalist, Kris Nayert, and have played quite a few times locally, here in southern Colorado. As a result of our last gig- an artsy fartsy in the parksy thing, a blues club in a slightly larger city called us and booked us for a real paying gig in September. Wierd thing is, we don't even play any blues songs.

No matter. They seem to be willing to give us 350 bucks to play in their club. I think lots of the audience will be surprised, because theyknow me as a nurse, not as a musician.

But to me, the cool thing is related to this thread title. I am playing music with family: my daughter and son-in-law, as well as with a dear friend, (Kris). And we seem to be achieving some measure of success, at least in southern Colorado. Thanks, BlueJay
