I guess I am the first one home and therefore I get the honor of starting this thread.

Tonight we met at the Press Room in Portsmouth, New Hampster, USA. There were a bunch of us. I hope I remember to mention everyone. First of all there were the locals and regulars; Curmudgeon, Bat Goddess, Jeri, Tyler, Barry Finn. Then there were those of us from up the coast, myself and Charley Noble. Then there were those from away, bbc, Duane, Turtle, Emily B, Bill, and arriving late but arriving nevertheless was Big Mick.

We had a great time. The voices were raised in song and the beer flowed freely. There were plenty of people there who were NOT Mudcats and that was all right too, I guess. Everyone sang something with the sole exception of bbc.

However, later, after Big Mick arrived she and Jeri set out to undermine the moral character of a 4 year old girl by "handling the merchandise." This story may be too risque for some of you so I would advise those of your who are faint of heart to stop reading now.

It seems Big Mick was tired but Jeri kept bugging him for a song. He commented, in front of Jeri and bbc, that his "…ass was too tired…" This simple statement prompted the ladies to physically test his statement for veracity. Their verdict was that Mick would have no trouble performing. Unfortunately a nearby child, seeing what they did decided to get in on the act and, uh, physically tested his statement also.

Overall it was a great evening. Thanks to Curmudgeon and Bat Goddess for their hospitality and organizational skills in starting and maintaining the sessions at the Press Room. Thanks to the other Mudcatters I have now met and added to my life list. I am slowly but surely catching up to Bill Sables!
