I don't know what house the moon was in or whether Jupiter was aligned with Mars, but the Great Mudcat Convergence on The Press Room was quite an event! Even the waitstaff enjoyed themselves! (While keeping us from dying of thirst, of course.)

It's all Emily B's fault -- she asked what was going on in this neck of the woods this week. She and her husband took the prize, I think, for coming the greatest distance, closely followed by Turtle from about the same degree of westing, but more northerly. And how fortuitous that bbc and Duane were also in the vicinity. Must have been in the stars (see opening 'graph).

I don't know what was better -- the wonderful music or the sense of community among people who had previously only met mouse to mouse rather than face to face. Wish we all could have spent more time just talking, but I guess that's what Mudcat is here for.

What a grand evening! And thanks to everyone who helped create it! (BTW, there was at least one Mudcatter among the regular listeners.)
