Kendall, about half an hour drive from my home would bring you top Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire. In this village is the church where, ledgend says,Robin and Marrion got married. A walk away is the Oak tree mentioned earlier. It is worth seeing. They say that it was the tree where Robin kept his pantry and concealed himself when the Sherriff's men were near. In truth in the days of Robin Hood it would only have been an acorn. Patrish lives very near to the site of Kirklees Priory where Robin's grave is said to be, unfortunatly it is on private land and not accessable to the public.
