Kendall sorry to hitch a ride on your thread but this may interest you as well as Chanteranger. Whitby has 2 festivals running over the weekend of the 19th 20th of October. One is the Whitby Musicport World Music Festival which may or may not be of interest to Catter's. However the same weekend is the Captain Cook Maritime Music Festival which should prove to be. I'll probably not be there, as a trip to the Emerald Isle may beckon, however I do have a tatty caravan within easy walking distance of the town, except for the 199 steps up to the abbey..........not easy after eleventeen pints.
