Well, a quick google search turned up a 1996 Dirty Linen article on Paul Seibel that was pretty informative. It seems that I've been wrong about him for 30 years. Not about his talent, just about his place of birth. He was indeed born in Buffalo, not Missouri. It also said that he had stopped playing and is (or was in 1996 at least) a baker in Maryland. What a great talent; what a shame that two albums of his original songs is all we got. Sometimes I begin to believe that this world isn't working quite right yet. . .
