I mentioned this in a post to the Billie Holiday thread, and began to feel it deserved its own thread:

I live some of the time in Paris, and one of the things I miss the most when I'm back in the States is radio station TSF, 89.9 FM, jazz 24/7. But their definition of jazz runs from early Louis to the present, country and city blues, traditional gospel, swing novelties, Sinatra -- everything. And it is nearly wall-to-wall music -- how they make any money, I don't know.
