"Okay, go sit in jail until you are ready to answer these questions before the grand jury or until the grand jury expires, whichever comes first."I'm familiar with this drill, because for 37 years I was a court reporter for the US District Court here in Indiana, and this sort of thing happened now and then.
I just don't remember whether the proceedings before the judge partook of the grand jury secrecy or not.
