Ok, so, I'm listening to an old Rory Block tape from 1986 where she says"Nobody Knows you When You're Down and Out" was writen by IDA (Yeah, IDA) Cox, who was married to Jimmy, but Jimmy took poor Ida's Credit.. so ok, that sounds feasable, BUT.....I've been trying to prove this, so I find no evidence of Ida ever being married to a "Jimmy", nor did Ida ever "cover" the song, -- you'd think that if she indeed wrote the song, she'd at least cover it after BS made a big "hit" out of it ....am I missing something or is Rory doing wishful "girlpower" thinking...anybody know??????????
