Surely, the entire point of a library is to allow a huge amount of resources to be made available to everyone regardless of their financial circumstances.

Pretending to have lost a book, and then keeping it for yourself (especially if it's out of print) is to my mind totally wrong and totally selfish.

I really can't see where options come into it. It's wrong period
