I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Raffi yet. I've never seen him in person, but I have seen him on TV a couple of times. Thoroughly charming, batches of songs, and little kids seem to love him. Records and songbooks available, maybe in your local library. Browse his site. He seems like quite a guy.
