Glad to see Diana Wynne Jones mentioned. I read the first of theHamilton *Reality Dysfunction* series and it was too long and involved for me to continue. plus the main plot device was a bit thin to hold up all that flowed from it.

Since y'all like good fantasy so much, a fave of mine is *Forgotten Beasts of Eld* by Patricia McKillip. Her other stuff is pretty good, too. Iam SO pleased that grownups are not above reading good books, even if marketed for young people. Now don't get me started on the picture books ... Mary Ann (yes, the Librarian)
