Louisa, if you don't get a lift, there is a bus from Oxford Town Centre to Thame, or else there is a railway station at Haddenham Parkway. Both are still a couple of miles from Towersey, but at least now there is a bus service from Thame to Towersey. It is possible to walk it though. Haddenham Parkway is a bit further away, but is the closest railway station. It may be possible to hitch from there or cadge a lift as it isn't so awkward as Oxford to get through. I can't remember if I'm stewarding Thurs evening or not, but I usually have my pre-festival migraine about then, when I can barely remember my name, let alone how to drive a car.....
