I loved that film. Very clever. A witty and wonderful parody of Shakspeare, the theatre, Elizabethan England, etc. And a nice love story too, I thought.

It was Tom Stoppard, a very wry and satirical playwright, who wrote the script...which showed an impressive comprehension of Shakespeare, I might add...

I am amazed anyone would be "disgusted" by that film...

So much crap out of Hollywood, I find myself evry tickled when something GOOD comes out of there...
