The Mudcat is honored.I remember practicing from Jean's book, called, I think, _In Search of the Wild Dulcimer_, many years ago, with both my wooden dulcimer, and my cardboard one. The cardboard one came from Backyard Music, and over 20 years ago I used to prepare and assemble the dulcimer kits. David ....., (CRS!) the owner of the tiny company, moved from Phila to New Haven, but I would bet he's still making and selling cardboard dulcimers and kits. It's incredible to see him lead a sizable group of kids through the steps of putting a dulcimer together, and then teach them how to start playing, all in a couple of sessions over one weekend!
