I found a couple of bits that may help.

Tony Darcy of Headford, County Galway and John "Jack" McNeela from Ballacroy, Co Mayo both died on hunger-strike for political status in Mountjoy Gaol on April 16th and April 19th, 1940 respectively.

Tony is buried in the Republican Plot at Donoghpatrick Cemetery, Caherlistrane, where the annual Co Galway Easter Commemoration takes place.
