Jumpin' Jack Flash was pounding out of the stereo speakers, her pink toenailed feet stomped out the rhythm on the floor as she stood at the ironing board, all faded denim jeans and white bra as she ironed her shirt, swiveling her hips and singing along with Mick. The early light filtered bright in the room, and I watched her through fuzzily squinted eyes. She looked radiant when framed in eyelash fringe. I have never been a morning person, but I sat speechless, watching her morning unfold before me. It's a gas, gas, gas.
