2/. Tables format text for you.

3/. 10% of the Male population suffer fron colour blindness to some degree so keep you colour v text schemes basic and simple - and use larger or bold text.

4/. Use a WYSIWYG - I find "Hot Metal" simple and easy to use, and with a bit of knowledge of HTML, very good. NB The earlier and very satisfactory editions of "Hot Metal" are frequently given away with PC magazines.
