Due South spent a lot of time ridiculing Canadian Stereotypes. The Mountie that Paul Gross played was right out of the old Nelson Eddy movies. They only made a couple of seasons because the ratings weren't great. Gordon Pincent reprising his role from "the forest rangers" was the best part.
