Warning, THREAD DRIFT. When I was in Williamsburg VA I heard that the name Taliaferro was pronounced "Tolliver" in tidewater VA during the 18th century. Booker T. Washington's T. stood for Taliaferro, and he was born in VA, though I don't believe he was born in the tidewater area. DOes anyone happen to know if Booker T. Washington has a connection to the Williamsburg area (other than the fact that he attended The Hampton Institute)?

Sorry bout the thread drift, I will just say that I was happy that UCLA was able to overcome a lackluster 1st half, I missed the 2nd half because I was out listening to a local blues band....
