Just had another idea: how about placing adverts in newspapers around the area and in the larger cities, i.e. London and pose as a prospective buyer, saying you are looking for s used baby taylor to purchase? It might just sucker the thief into answering, esp. if you say cost is no problem. Unless of course it was a canny thief who already knew how to fence such items. A kid might not know any better, though, and answer? Just a thought:-)
