One, two, three, many trad music open mikes!

Seems like this idea is spreading. The message below was received via e-mail this morning. It's from the owner/operator of Sun Music Company in New York City. I am passing it along without further comment.

Hello Friends,

You are welcome to come to the SUN Music Company's "FIRST MONDAY" A night of Traditional Music on the First Monday of the month starting on Monday, October 1, 2001.

Doors open at 7pm. Music starts at 7:30pm and will go till 10:30pm or so.

Each participant may perform 4 songs and join in a group sing round-robin.

Door charge is $5.00 with zero drink minimum.
FIRST MONDAY will be hosted by the delightful & very talented duo of Debby Dalton and Stefanie Lee who will also perform.

If you like the idea of FIRST MONDAY please share the information with your friends and come out and sing!

The SUN Music Company is located at 340 East 71st Street between First and Second Avenue in Manhattan.

Transportation: #6 train to 68th St. & Lexington Ave, First Avenue Bus M15 to 72nd and First Ave.
