Is it something to do with the 60s Folk Boom?

as there is a glut of 'young' 40-60 age group.

We have been trying to introduce more young people to the Traditional scene though folk clubs and Festivals. The Young Generation Contest at the Fyle Folk Festival has done well over the years several professional performers have come out of the Competition (eg. Kate Rusby).

Lets all stay young forever.
