Went out in the garden today and suddenly realised that summer has suddenly gone! This has made me feel somewhat depressed as I only bought a garden hammock/swing last month and now it's ready for winter storage. I can recall sitting in warm sunshine only 2-3 wks ago and now there's a chill wind blowing so even in today's sun it's not 'sitting out' or even B-B-Q weather. Not only that but the summer flowers are all dying off rather too quick for comfort. It's times like these that I feel like leaving the UK for warmer climes - has anyone else still got summer?
