It was great. The boys almost behaved, and I held myself back and only muttered along with the songs I knew until Maryrrf kindly gave the audience permission to sing along... turns out the guy behind me knew all the ones I knew and none of the ones I didn't, he must have the same album collection I had growing up. And her version of The 4 Mary's, one of my alltime faves, was haunting and beautiful. Wish some other area folks had appeared, or at least identified themselves if they appeared... She gifted me with 2 of her CDs for making the drive, even though I had come up to see my Mom anyway, which is great although I forgot to put them in the CD player for the drive home, silly me. Let's do a Virginia area thing next, there are beginning to be bunches of us down here...?
