Hi, John and BAZ - MIDITXT seems to have problems producing concise ABC's from Noteworthy MIDI files. Alan says the Noteworthy MIDI files are just a bit peculiar. The ABC files that MIDITXT produces from Noteworthy MIDIs will sound about right, but you won't be able to generate proper notation from them. since it's just with Noteworthy files, it's probably better just to put up with it until Max can get us the capability to post MIDI files directly.
The MIDITXT output from Noteworthy MIDI files produces a perfect MIDI when decoded - it's just the ABC part that is affected by this quirk.
