Oh come on Rose, I'm sure Harpgirl doesn't think pack rape is funny or cute - do you not think she may have been being ironic?

Maybe its a "cultural oddity"? I heard a discussion on the radio the other day with an American columnist/author who had recently returned to the US after living in Britain for about ten years saying that he had to remember not to be ironic in his columns as Americans unlike the British do not expect it. Dunno if he's right, but if so it would explain some of the po faced reactions that have come up to some of the tongue in cheek postings from us non USA types.
