Alex that is not at all callous. We so often take for granted that there are people out there who will happily risk their lives to save others, and don't give them the credit they deserve. Firefighters, EMTs, policemen, soldiers, volunteers of all kinds... we just assume they're going to be there to do their jobs. Let us be grateful for them.
