The reason it's getting sent around again is that Americans right now are just like a grieving family. We need to know we have support. We need to call in the help of our friends and allies. We need to hear that have made positive contributions to the world, not just ones that arouse hatred and jealousy. We need to remember what a mighty nation we are and have been, so that we can convince ourselves we are strong enough to survive this.
