As far as I know the day of mourning is to be Europe wide, I have just heard on the radio that all TV & radio channels are to observe a 3 minute silene at 11 AM UK time Friday, as somebody said earlier, a 1 minute silence is usual on remembrance day (11th November), but this is the first time we have ever held a 3 minute silence.
