the silence between the whistle signals
eerie
as Hindu, Muslim, Christian,
Jew and pagan.
White ,pink
and many shades of brown
thought about the dead
and those still lost.
And shared the sense
of being all of One.

We stood in silence
Planes were hijacked
2 buildings fell down
thousands died
a world ended
no one
and nothing will ever
be the same again.
