BEWARE OF PHONY DONATION SCHEMES

Especially over the Internet. Word is that scam artists are setting up several Internet sites soliciting donations to help with the rescue and rebuilding effort in New York. Be careful – many of the sites are fake. The money goes right into some financial predator's pocket. My suggestion? The American Red Cross. Call them at 1-800-HELP-NOW.
