Our neighborhood in Silver Spring Maryland held a Candelight Vigil. I would guess that over 200 people came. Songs were sung, A hospice minister gave a talk, and people came up and made brief statements on how the disaster has touched them. The individual statements focused overwhelmingly on the personal sense of loss and the need to come together without regards to racial cultural or religous differences to show what America and Freedom really are.
It truly was a moment that I will remember for the rest of my life.

GRIEVE for those that are gone, and PRAY for the living and those that are lost that they may be found and brought out of the rubble alive into the light. PRAY for our future.
