I've been like this since David died.....don't know whether it's grief, distraction or senility....I suspect the latter.Since the events of this week, I'm much worse.I don't even trust myself to remember good things like lunch with a friend....in fact,I have a stickie with a date on it saying "Thursday: meet Amanda".....buggered if I can remember which Thursday though.
