THE PUB WITH NO BEER is apparently somewhat factual - the link is to the lyrics, but a Forum Search will show several threads dedicated to discussing it. OH FOR ME GROG (2) is another 'classic' drinking song - quite common amongst bands playing that sort of tune. Again, looking in the SuperSearch will result in several threads that discuss it.

Fun tunes though. Upshot is that "Pub" is recent, "Grog", I believe, is pretty much just considered 'traditional'.
