Liz the squek, The same thing happened Packenham after the battle of New Orleans. His body was placed in a barrel of Rum/Brandy or whatever and shipped home to be buried, although he was English I believe he was buried in the family estate somewhere in Ireland. Even to this day there is a popular drink around New Orleans known as Packenham's punch. What a waste of good drink.
