Well, you also need to notice that there is a difference between justice and war. Under justice, a suspect is prosecuted until the evidence convicts him, or finds him not guilty, based on a regulated process. A war is prosecuted without reservation until the acheivement of "a more amenable frame of mind on the part of the enemy". (Klausewitz). There is no such thing as just war, although some wars are mopre justified than others perhaps. Nor is there such a thing as war-like justice.A
