Mind, I think there needs to be a third dimension around whether you tend to like things to change or to stay the same, other things being equal. Bit hard to show on a screen though. That gets mixed up in the left right spectrum, but it's different, as was demonstrated when they started referring to communists in Russia as "conservatives", or when Tony Blair starting using forces of conservatism as a ragbag to include all the people on they left who thought he was too right wing.
