Is anyone (not necessarily in business)being effected by the downturn in business activity?

I run a small electronic component distribution company in NW England, the effect of this recession is crippling us. Two staff have had to go on short time working and I'm seriously looking at how long we can survive. Most of our customers are manufacturers of equipment, and they just ain't manufacturing.

Sorry to whinge, but things are really tough out there.

Any thoughts?
