My mother and father were my sounding boards. While I still have Dad to rant and rave with, Mom passed away a week and a half ago. Because of this loss, my heart just isn't into writing new ones, at the moment, so I am taking a sabbatical from writing my op/ed column, A Mind-Full Spoken©. I DO love to share an opinion, though, just like the rest of the world. This is a subject which I have followed very closely and have very definite opinions on. One of the last things Mom said was during her last night alive, my sister had on the tv in her hospital room, with the sound very low. Mom was lucid enough, for a moment, to look up and say, "Is that Clinton? What're they doing to the poor man, now?!" I hope when I am 82 I will still have enough wits to be as interested up to the end as she and my dad have been and are.
