ABOUT CONGRESS GETTIN' AT THE TRUTH---There should ALWAYS be flexibility and room for nuance and circumstance when applying the law. I know it's supposed to be absolute, but nothing, in actual practice, is ever absolute!--Was Winston Churchill telling a lie he could be later made accountable for when he allowed areas to be bombed without warning the poulation during World War 2, even though they'd decoded a message informing our side of the situation? He did that because to show he knew would let Hitler know we'd cracked his code. Hitler'd change the code, and we'd no longer have access to all the information we were receiving---even though that info shortened the war. Is Bill's "lie" equal to others told throughout history for "noble" purposes? Some lies seem to have extenuating and validating circumstances involved in their perpetration.
The Congress of these United States has elevated an article from the National Enquirer to the level and status of an article of the constitution! It's "Alice In Wonderland" all over again! As the Queen of Hearts shouted, "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!"
