To get to the proper webpage, use this link http://fsgw.org/calendar.php3. Then scroll down to the Getaway under October. We're machanizing the FSGW site to be forms driven and updateable by the people involved (that's me, folks).
The page at http://www.fsgw.org/getaway.htm can't be updated easily. So don't go there.
One caveat--as of this writing (Sept 27th), the schedule of workshops etc. on the Getaway page is still fictitious, but we'll be updating it in coming weeks as we have details to post and gain expertise in how to maneuver the forms program to update it.
As of earlier this week, we were approaching 100 registrations, and most FSGW members just received their October newsletters today, which should result in another batch of registrations.
If you haven't registered yet, time's a-fleeting. If you were concerned about high air fares, there's a batch of cheapo sales that are just now being advertised, now that the airlines have successfully lobbied congress and gotten their $15 billion reward for saving so much money over the years by stinting on security, leaving it up to minimum wage people, which resulted in a consumer loss of confidence due to security slip-ups on Sept. 11th. Anyway, lots of cheap flights to BWI, which is also served by Southwest Airlines, one of the few US carriers in decent financial shape now.
