Listen to Bozie Sturdivant singing "Ain't No Grave Can Hold My Body Down" on Rounder CD-1500 (A Treasury of Library of Congress Field Recordings, a selection of outstanding performances selected from the LOC archives by Stephen Wade. Then try to emulate that kind of traditional artistry. Damn few can come even close!
