kat, my dear: if your discontent centers on the fact that you feel the lawyer made the decision rather than the editor, I suspect that your anger is misdirected. The editor, I suspect did make the final decision, but it was based on legal advise provided by the newspaper's legal counsel. I would think in this "sue everybody" mentality that we live in today, most CEOs probably are hesitant to make a move without approval of their lawyers.
