Sorry if I've told that before. I ought to check that out as I don't want my repetition of stuff to bug folks here. I really dislike wading through my old stuff so I don't do it.

I just sent Frank a recording of that trio AFTER McGuinn left. Guy Guilbert (now in California) had taken Roger's place. When Guy left the group, FRED HOLSTEIN took his place in the final incarnation of the group.

By the way, the name of that trio was THE FRETS. When McGuinn asked a gal out that a good buddy of mine was dating we chums put together a "watch" on Roger's house for a day or two. It was all very good natured---just play acting. McG lived on Division street in Chicago then as I recall.

When Roger McGuinn left The Frets he signed on as the instrumental backup for the Chad Mitchell Trio. He was pictured on several of those albums from that era. Was it Colpox Records?? I'm not sure...
