20th.-21st. October...at the Open Door Folk Club, Oldham Road, Failsworth there will be, as the club organizers describe it, a mini-extravaganza. Saturday afternoon kicks off with a singaround followed at 3pm with an afternoon concert featuring Brian Peters and Joe Stead. An evening concert features Jez Lowe. The same routine follows on the Sunday when, in the afternoon, Joan Blackburn and Jon Brindley will be appearing to be followed in the evening by Pete Coe. Ticket prices are £12 for the weekend (bought on the day) or £7 for Saturday or Sunday tickets. Children under 12 are free and under 18's half price.
